Munthly is a private budgeting app. Your bank statements, transactions and balances stay on your own device. They are never sent to us, and we have no way to see them.
Nothing. Munthly has no account inside the app and no user profile. We do not collect, receive, store or sell any personal or financial information.
Munthly is free to download. If you unlock Premium, that purchase is handled entirely by Google Play (or, on iOS, the App Store), using their own billing system. They confirm your purchase and unlock the feature inside the app; we never see your card details or payment information, and the app itself still has nothing to sign in to.
Everything you import or type stays in storage on the device you used, alongside the app. It is not uploaded anywhere. The app is built so it cannot send your data: outgoing connections are blocked, and statements are read on the device itself.
Because your data lives only on that device, clearing the app's data, uninstalling the app or moving to a new device removes it. Use the backup option inside the app to keep a copy you control.
There are none. No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising, no third party scripts that watch what you do.
This policy page is served from a website, and loading any web page produces ordinary connection records such as your IP address, browser and the time of the request. Those are handled by our hosting provider. The app itself does not send your data anywhere, and your statements, transactions and figures are never part of those records.
If you send us a statement so we can teach the app a new bank's layout, you are choosing to send us that file by email. Remove anything you would rather not share first. We use it only to improve how statements are read, and we delete it once that is done.
Munthly is not directed at children under 13 and collects no information from anyone.
